The Purpose And Main Structure Of The Fuel Tanker Trailer
Leave a message
Fuel tanker trailer refer to special vehicles for transporting gasoline, diesel, kerosene, lubricating oil and other liquid oils. It is the most used vehicle in liquid tank trucks. According to its function, it is divided into two types: oil truck trailer and fuel truck trailer. The oil truck trailer is used to transport liquid oil. It is mainly composed of oil tanks, filling ports, oil drain valves, manhole covers, oil hoses, grounding chains, etc.; It has the function of a mobile pumping station, and it also adds an oil pumping system, a metering system, and a manipulation device.

1. Tank body. The tank body of the oil tanker is mostly welded by ordinary low carbon steel plate. The two ends of the tank are sealed by heads, and the middle is an oval cross-section tank. The tank body is provided with partitions, longitudinal anti-wave plates, transverse anti-wave plates and corresponding supports. The upper part of the tank is equipped with a protective frame, a manhole cover, an overflow pipe, etc. The lower part of the tank body is welded with a tank body support and a bottom valve seat hole.
2. Manhole cover. The manhole cover is installed on the upper part of the tank body, and most of them are fixed by bolts. The manhole cover is equipped with a filling hole cover, a breathing valve, a connecting air pipe joint, a refueling conduit, a full alarm and an observation hole. Normally, the manhole cover is not opened, and the fastening bolts and manhole cover are only removed when the interior is overhauled, so that workers can go in and out for maintenance or cleaning.
3. Bottom valve. The bottom valve is a control valve for liquid discharge or suction into the liquid tank, and a bottom valve is installed at the bottom of each single chamber of the tank. The structure of the bottom valve is related to the type of tank and the goods shipped. The operation forms of the bottom valve are manual, pneumatic, electric and hydraulic. The bottom of the tank is also equipped with a sedimentation tank and a drain valve, which can be opened irregularly according to the situation to let off the dirt deposited in the sedimentation tank.
4. Static elimination device and measures. In order to eliminate the static electricity generated by the tank truck trailer during refueling, discharging and transporting oil, prevent fires caused by static electricity, and ensure safe transportation, the tank truck is equipped with various static electricity elimination devices. (1) Mopping tape or chains. (2) Winch type grounding device (3) Static neutralization device (4) High conductivity coating (5) Limit oil flow rate
5. Oil pump. The oil pump of the refueling truck generally adopts a self-priming vortex pump and an arc gear pump with low pressure and large flow. The power of the oil pump generally comes from the automobile engine, and the gear pump is driven to rotate through the power output device and the drive shaft, and the oil is sucked into or discharged from the liquid tank.
6. Hose winch. The hose winch is a special mechanism for winding rubber oil hoses on all fuel trucks. Its capstan assembly is made up of large and small bearing blocks and small rotating shaft tube, large rotating shaft tube, reel, oiling pipe, sealing ring and capstan locking device.
7. Water separation filter. The function of the water separation filter is to separate and filter the water, jelly and impurities in the oil to ensure that the oil is highly clean.
